It’s quiet, and the staff are friendly. For a budget hotel in Ngawi, East Java Province, it has good TV reception, hot water, AC, and free WiFi. There are nearby food shops selling meatball, tahu tepo (a local traditional meal from tofu), and Accoord Restaurant Depot, open until about 09:00 p.m. Simple food stalls (angkringan) stay open longer. It’s close to a hospital and the colonial van den Bosch fort tourist attraction. The room door and long vertical window have semi-transparent “ice glass” decoration, though, which my wife thinks makes the room look like a showroom from outside. The badly needed powerline is surprisingly tucked under a table.

I rented one of the other rooms, with a few more amenities than the cheapest one. It was a good, clean place, still new and fresh. There was construction going on, but it wasn’t noisy, so it was okay 🤘🏻.

This is the only reddoorzs in Ngawi District. It’s clean, and smoking isn’t allowed inside the room.
