We found it easy to get to cafes and restaurants, and the sea is close by. We stayed four nights; the place was clean and nice, and the people were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was some noise from the cafe next door.
We ended up staying over Christmas and New Year after missing the boat, and the place felt really pleasant, almost like home. The staff were friendly, and our room was spacious for me and my two brothers. Breakfast was lontong for two of us, heheh. It was close to the Plan B hotel, Taplau, and Soerabi. We had a great time there, guys.
Padang Beach is within walking distance, and Al-Hakim Mosque is very close too.
Mess... I booked through Traveloka, and the money was lost..
Padang beach is close enough to walk to from the hotel. There are also plenty of Padang culinary delights nearby.
