Gading Treehouse

The whole resort had a calm, relaxed feel, and the hosts were incredibly attentive. Nothing seemed too much trouble. We stayed in the fantastic treehouse, which was cleaned fresh every day. Falling asleep and waking up to the sounds of nature was perfect. This was just the right rural getaway, and I’d recommend it 100000%.

We had such a wonderful time here that leaving for another destination made us really sad. The staff treated us so well, and everything was clean, tidy, and carefully looked after. The installations were incredible. Our welcome was lovely, and the team helped plan island tours, arranging a personal driver who took us around and patiently waited at every stop. They also pointed us toward great local places to eat and drink, with good prices and quality. There are partnerships for food delivery to the hotel, massages, breakfast, laundry, and more, all at great prices. The staff were welcoming, kind, and quick to solve things. The stay felt like a dream. We’re grateful for everything, hope to see them again, and will definitely stay here on our next Bali trip. We’ve recommended the place to friends and others we know who are coming to Nusa Penida.

At Gading Treehouse, the rooms were beautifully decorated, the views were stunning, and the staff were so friendly. The hotel manager was especially lovely, welcoming, and helpful. It felt more like visiting grandma than checking into a hotel.

The grounds and pool look just as beautiful as in the pictures, and the staff are nice. Sometimes their English wasn’t quite enough to communicate effectively with guests. The hotel is set in a lovely natural area, but you’ll need a motorbike or private driver to get around. Restaurants and shops are at least a 25-30 minute walk away, along a road that’s very steep in places. The hotel can order food from a restaurant, which is convenient, though they didn’t tell me about the delivery fee, so it came as an unpleasant surprise. The amount wasn’t a big deal. The room walls are thin, and you can hear everything outside, including wildlife and people talking or walking in front of or above your room. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend Gading Treehouse, but those few things kept it from being a five-star experience for me.
