Nice atmosphere for the day, and the pool was clean and warm. But I wouldn’t choose it for a good night’s rest. The linens had so many stains that I worried they hadn’t been washed properly, and there were stains on the bathroom sink too. The pillows were thick and hard, like bricks, and left me with bad neck pain. The bed was wonky and squeaked whenever I moved. Dogs in the street leading to the hotel barked a lot at night, then the roosters started up at 5am and carried on until 7am. There’s no breakfast, and the drinks fridge was empty. There are lots of places to eat outside, mostly along the noisy main road.

The owner was good, and the rooms and property were clean. You can rent a scooter there, book a ferry or taxi, or get an in-room massage, all at fair prices. Breakfast was average. It’s close to the night market and beaches, though the nearby beaches aren’t very good for swimming. The better swimming spots are farther away.

Ketut, the owner, was so kind. He found us a great snorkeling trip at a really cheap price, and we got to swim with manta rays. The place was clean and nice, the AC was cold, the showers were hot, and the pool had a really cool design. Great experience, thanks Ketut :)

Management was super helpful with arranging tours and taxis, and even went out to buy and pick up our boat tickets. We hadn’t booked breakfast, but adding it after we arrived was no hassle, and it was great. We had a great stay and found it brilliant value.
