Juan Beach Bungalow

The staff were warm and helpful throughout our family stay. They arranged a scooter rental and snorkeling trip, suggested places suitable for kids, and even brought extra towels when our child was splashing in the pool. Breakfast was included, freshly prepared, tasty, and offered local and continental choices. We enjoyed eating with the ocean view, though nearby lunch and dinner choices were limited, so we had to plan ahead and ride a scooter or arrange transport to find more restaurants. We stayed in a family bungalow at Juan Beach Bungalow. It was simple and cozy rather than luxurious, with a comfortable bed, air conditioning, and a clean bathroom. Our child especially liked the pool, and we enjoyed unwinding there in the evening after exploring. The WiFi was weak, which could be frustrating for work or streaming. The beach is lovely, but currents make it less suitable for swimming with small children, so we stuck to walks, collecting shells, and playing in the sand, and used the pool or calmer nearby beaches for swimming. Being just a few steps from the beach was a highlight. We woke to the waves, and our child could run out to the sand while we watched the sunrise from the terrace with tea. It felt peaceful and secluded. We left feeling rested and close as a family, with memories of sunrises and barefoot evenings. For us, Juan Beach Bungalow offered a relaxed base to experience Nusa Penida, with direct beach access and friendly service. We'd recommend it to families who value quiet and nature over luxury.
