We loved the pool area, where there were four loungers and we often had it to ourselves. Inside, the bed was huge and very comfortable, and the little fridge in the room was a nice extra. The hosts were attentive throughout our four-night stay and even added us on WhatsApp so we could reach them easily. Their laundry service was 20k per kg and bike rental was 100k per day. We used both and found them very handy. They even dropped us off at the harbour on our bike. It was a delightful stay, and we'd love to come back.

There were several rats in the ceiling of the Middle Ground Floor Room and a family of geckos in the Left Ground Floor room. The pool was dirty, the sheets were stained, and walking into the local town was impossible because taxi drivers kept stopping us every five seconds. One star feels generous.

Rats in the room and awful management! The electricity went out on our first night, and rats ran down the wall in our room. We contacted the manager, who didn't speak English well, and agreed we'd move rooms. We tried to sleep, expecting to switch the next day. But then she told us the room she'd promised had already gone to new guests, so we decided to change hotels. We weren't refunded for the two nights we had left, and booking.com still hadn't replied after two weeks. Not recommended unless you like sleeping with rats!

The host was super friendly and helped us figure out what to do around the island. It's a beautiful hotel, just a short walk from toyah pakeh harbor on Nusa Penida.

Zuriyah and the rest of the lovely, kind staff made us feel like family. That was the best part of this beautiful hotel, which I'd definitely recommend. 💖 Thanks for everything.
