I keep returning here whenever I’m on Nusa Penida, and I’ve really enjoyed every stay. It’s quiet, the air conditioning works perfectly, and there’s always hot water. The owner is warm and welcoming, the breakfast is good, and the Wi-Fi holds up for Zoom calls. It’s around five minutes from the port, with easy access to the rest of the island. The grounds are lovely, there’s a nice pool, and the price is very reasonable. Honestly, my favorite hotel here. Highly recommend it.

Putu made us feel welcome and went out of his way to make guests happy. The room was comfortable, with a TV, cool air conditioning, a nice shower, and even a toothbrush. The amenities were lovely too, especially the swimming pool. Such a great stay.

We had a great time at Kuri Garden Cottage. The room suited our needs perfectly, and the staff were very polite and helpful. It’s worth renting one of Putu’s scooters, since you can get just about anywhere in 15-20 minutes.

The little fridge and private porch with two chairs were lovely touches, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and cutely decorated. There’s a pool and breakfast in the morning too. Putu has a generous, kind heart and did whatever he could to make our stay easy and enjoyable. We were greeted with iced tea, and he arranged tickets and tours, picked us up when needed, and replied to messages quickly. Everyone working there was attentive and kind. I loved it and would come back anytime.

The location is a little outside the center, but Putu offers pickups and drop-offs, and the island is small enough to get around easily by scooter. He really loves Nusa Penida and encourages visitors to stay overnight, enjoy the island, and support the local economy. It’s a beautiful place, and he’s a wonderful host who goes the extra mile for people. The rooms are comfortable and very clean, breakfast is generous and healthy, and glass jugs can be refilled at a shared mineral water dispenser, so there are no plastic bottles. I’ve rarely met a host as kind and welcoming as Putu. You won’t be disappointed.
