The hosts and owners were very friendly and helpful, and renting a scooter from them for two days was convenient. We enjoyed our stay, though I gave the room four stars because rain came through the roof and soaked my things one night. The chickens start calling early, and there’s also a nearby Muslim temple that plays prayer songs over speakers each morning.

It’s an affordable place and the room is clean, so you get what you pay for. The staff weren’t very attentive and were barely around. Most things are far from this area, so you’ll need some kind of transportation.

The host organized a beach BBQ with people from the hostel, and it was really, really nice. We had lovely days here and were treated kindly. The owner is accommodating, and the place is incredibly beautiful, definitely worth it and easy to recommend. There’s inexpensive breakfast and you can rent scooters too.

We had to change hotels after just one night. The private bungalows felt really dirty, with lots of bugs and mosquitoes, no running water from the tap or shower, and only a little water that smelled awful. The beds were dirty too. When we said we were checking out, the staff didn’t even ask why. We gave two stars because our West Side tour guide was super nice and friendly. The tour cost 620K for 4 pax. Thank you!
