Petinggian Hostel

Once we found the place, it was totally worth the effort. Go up Pettingian road and look for the small parking lot on the right marked Rumah Pohon. I didn't know that meant treehouse, drove past twice, and then had to walk about a hundred meters down a dirt trail to a little village of treehouses. Our own bungalow was up in the sky, with breakfast and dinner included, and it was the best deal we found on the island. It's remote and quiet, with lovely cross breezes and no mosquitos because you're high up. From the ridge there are epic views across the whole north coast, with sunrise on one side and sunset on the other. A great escape from Nusa Penida's tourtouriats and traffic. Bring a crew and take over the place!
