Ramwan Guest House

The rooms are inexpensive and clean, and the guesthouse is quiet. It’s in a less touristy area, which lets you experience the real Indonesia and eat cheap local food. The owner is really sweet and looked out for me as a solo female traveller. There’s hot water, a TV, and freshly prepared breakfast. I’d recommend staying here.

Near Ped Beach, the guesthouse is run by the nicest couple. I was surprised there weren’t more guests, though I’m not complaining. The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, and quiet, surrounded by trees with lots of windows and natural light. The AC is good, and there’s a TV. Breakfast is included, with omelette, toast, and fresh fruit. Bottled drinking water and coffee are available all day. It’s a great location, within walking distance of Freedive Nusa Penida and a short moto taxi ride from the harbor, which cost 50k Rupiah.

The bathroom could use a revamp, even just new taps, since they were a bit rusty. That’s why I’d give it 4.9. The rooms are comfortably large, with clean bedding, hot showers, and aircon that worked well. The price was awesome, and breakfast was good. There’s private scooter parking, and we felt our valuables were safe left in the room. Staff were friendly and gave five-star advice on where to go, which routes to take, and which roads to avoid. We could communicate in English well enough. We enjoyed our stay.

The beds were clean, the bathroom was good, and our small room was just right for two. They have bigger rooms too, but I can’t comment on those. The guys were nice and picked us up from the ferry, then even took us to our next accommodation. Beautiful place.
