We’ll come back to Ayola Sentosa Palembang. Booking by phone went smoothly, we got our room quickly, and parking was easy. Our Deluxe Queen Twin was roomy at 37 sqm, quiet, and comfortable, with nothing odd about it. From the balcony of room 523, we could see Jembatan Ampera. Breakfast was worth having. Give it a try.

We chose a Deluxe room for a stop after a long drive. The room was spacious, and we like older hotel rooms. They also arranged the connecting door we asked for. The shower was great, the aircon worked well, the balcony and Wi-Fi were good, the beds were comfortable, and the service was fine. At first, we liked the atmosphere. Then at midnight, the front office called to ask whose name the stay was under, when we were all already asleep. After that we couldn’t get back to rest. There was extremely loud music and vibration from upstairs, where they have a bar on the 8th floor. We really couldn’t sleep properly. I don’t know if that was only because it was Saturday night or if the bar is open every night, but we’d come intending to get a good rest, and the noise ruined it. Such a disappointment, especially since the rooms themselves were fine.
