The pool was great, and the shower had excellent pressure. The bed linen was clean and new, and the location near the port was convenient. Still, the room felt a bit tired and smelled of smoke, and the main light didn't work. As other reviews have mentioned, there's noise early in the morning from wildlife and the call to prayer, though that's unavoidable in this area.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. They arranged our snorkeling trip and scooter or car rental, and even took me to the pharmacy. The pool was large enough to swim a few lengths, and the room was clean, with good AC and a great shower. It's within walking distance of the ferries and lots of cafes and restaurants. My only suggestion would be to provide filtered water, which I feel should be included. We had a pleasant and enjoyable stay on the island.

The pool was lovely and the water felt just right, and the location is handy, about a five-minute walk from the cafes and restaurants. Those were the only parts that matched what was advertised. The stay itself was easily my worst hotel or villa experience in Bali, and we even thought about leaving early. Finding the place took extra time and taxi money because the address on Airbnb was wrong. The room was a letdown, and the hygiene was unbelievable. The sheets were stained, and we had to ask three times before they offered to change them. They kept saying the sheets were clean because they had come from the laundry that way. The bedside table was sticky with what looked like drink stains, so it was clear the bedroom hadn't been cleaned before we arrived. The bathroom was also in bad shape. Its lights didn't work properly and weren't replaced after we asked. The water temperature was nice, but the pressure was poor. There were concrete marks from construction everywhere and rust on the shower head. It didn't feel hygienic. Getting proper sleep was hard unless you're a very deep sleeper. We heard traffic from the main road, Muslim chants for half an hour in the middle of the night, chickens constantly, and then the host's expansion work starting with hammering and lots of noise by 7 a.m. I gave it two stars because it was relatively cheap. I could have rated it higher if the place hadn't been such a letdown.

The room was clean and the location is really good, though they unfortunately don't clean it daily. Noise started early: the mosque woke us at 4 a.m., a rooster at 4:30, then a gecko at 5.
