Suwehan Beach Cliff House

Suwehan Beach was breathtakingly beautiful, and after the tough hike down we practically had it to ourselves. It's close to the resort. The owner also kindly lent us special clothes to wear at the pretty temple beside the resort. It's more than an hour's ride from the port, and we rented a scooter there. The hilly road needed careful riding, but we actually enjoyed the trip and the lovely views along the way. Yes, it's a bit far from everything else, but hidden gems like this are often away from the centre. We really loved the view!

A must try in Bali, even for just one night. About 120 degrees of your view is filled with 🌊, and the rest is mountain. There's nothing else your eyes need. The sunrise was so beautiful. You can get down to the beach in 10 minutes, though the trek is risky. There's a restaurant inside and another just a 10-step walk away.

For a quiet getaway and a beautiful sunrise view, this is the place. Our room was clean and the bed was comfy, though the pillow was a bit too high for me. We stayed in late July, and even with some rain the weather felt fresh enough that we didn't need the AC at night. There are monkeys around during the day. They left us and our things on the balcony alone, but don't get too close to them. The food here was good and made dinner an easy choice, since getting to other places can be difficult. There aren't nearby restaurants apart from the one next door, and the local shops don't stay open late.
