Hotel Prasasti Pacitan

That banana cupcake at breakfast was the highlight for me. I wanted to take a whole pile back to my room with hot tea and a book. The bed was nice, the bathroom was good, and the mirror was wide. It’s near the plaza, too. My stay was complimentary, so I can’t really comment on the price.

The price was fairly low and the location was decent, but the room itself felt old and poorly kept. As soon as I switched on the light, a cockroach ran off. It was my first time staying here.

The rooms were spacious, with clean, practical bathrooms, and the staff helped us with our heavy luggage. We arrived in the early hours and there were plenty of staff around to welcome us. Breakfast was a simple local spread, just what I personally look for. The hotel is conveniently close to Jami' masjid agung and sits on a pleasant, quiet street. We were there during eid adha 2018, so I can’t say if it’s as quiet at other times. There’s no lift to the upper floors, and I didn’t see any ground-floor rooms, so it’s not suitable for wheelchair users or elderly guests.

There are standard, deluxe, and family rooms, plus a meeting room, breakfast restaurant, and living room. The building is in very good shape, and the room was very clean. It’s one of the few hotels in the area that provides breakfast. I’d recommend staying here when visiting Pacitan.
