It’s a peaceful place to rest after work, tucked away from the noise of the main road. Surya Palace Syariah Hotel is on Jalan Belanti Raya, Padang, and though it’s small, it feels cozy. There’s even a swimming pool, which you don’t often find at a compact hotel. They also host meetings and gatherings, with several rooms that offices and government agencies usually rent. Pretty well equipped for its size.

The food was nice, the service was good, and the staff were really friendly. The place has a cozy atmosphere and feels worth the price. The pool was clean, though I noticed there was no soap in the dispenser :)

This is basically a house converted into a place for travellers. Even though it calls itself a hotel, it’s more of a guesthouse or budget hostel than a hotel proper.
