It's a comfortable place in a convenient location. The room is clean and has an elegant design that makes it feel special despite its size. Wi-Fi was fast enough for a business trip. Breakfast is simple but delicious. You can easily walk to Padang beach, coffee shops, an ATM, stationary and electronics shops, cafes, fast food, karaoke, and street food. I'll stay here again next time I'm in Padang.

I liked how comfortable my room felt, especially the bedroom lighting. I can't sleep in total darkness, but a bright lamp is uncomfortable too, and this was just right. My room was near the stairs and had bathroom air circulation, which was lucky since many rooms don't have windows. I don't have photos, but the location is handy, close to the museum, souvenir shops, and other places.

For a tight-budget trip, this worked well. I spent 4 days and 3 nights here, with good food and a good room, and it was well placed for getting around Padang.

I've stayed at Deivan twice now, and it's still my go-to when I visit Padang. It's right in the heart of the city, very convenient, with friendly staff and good service. Highly recommended.
