We arrived at 10 pm and the receptionist was very unfriendly. They asked us to pay another 50k on top of the room price shown in the hotel booking app, then transferred us to another hotel partner without making things clear. Friends planning to stay here should think it over.

For that price, the hotel is clean and comfortable, and the service is friendly. Great.

Aka Hotel Pondok 68 has complete room facilities and an affordable price. It’s in the city center near the Al Hakim Mosque, though finding the access is a bit confusing and the parking area is quite narrow for cars.

I wouldn’t recommend staying here with an unmarried partner. I’m not trying to be negative with a one-star rating, but on the RedDoorz app the hotel didn’t have a Sharia-compliant name. When we arrived, they said it was Sharia-compliant. They should change the name so nobody else checks in and then gets turned away unexpectedly.
