Kinol Homestay

The location is handy, with restaurants, a fruit market, and a supermarket nearby. I stayed in room 201 for two weeks as a solo traveller. The staff were super helpful and quick to respond, always smiling. Karin, Akmal, Baldi, Nadya, Ringgo, and Nisa deserve a special thank you. The food and drinks were tasty and refreshing, and easy to get during my stay. They also make good coffee, and the cafe downstairs has good music from Thursday to Sunday. The bed linen was clean and smelled fresh, but the curtains and walls were stained. There was dust and some rubbish under and beside the bed, including plastic packaging, used tissues, and hair, so housekeeping needs more attention. There was no TV or TV remote, which would be a problem if you like watching TV. There was no AC remote either, but the receptionist or staff could adjust it if I asked. The bathroom was clean, though sometimes a smell came from the drain. I bought a kamper ball, which helped, but didn't seem healthy. Hot and cold water were available. The door window leading to the terrace had no lock, which seemed like a security concern for guests' belongings, though I was okay with it at the time. Management really needs to pay attention to housekeeping. I know some guests have dirty habits, but the staff can do better.
