The view was nice, and the staff were friendly. It’s near the mosque, and the service was excellent. Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of desserts to choose from, and the black coffee was delicious. It’s a three-star hotel with five-star service.

Being inside the Universitas Negeri Padang complex made the hotel feel safe, and the grounds were tidy and easy to get around. Staff were helpful and friendly, and the affordable rate felt worthwhile. I didn’t try the food or drinks. My room was spacious and cozy, though the hot water and toilet facilities need attention. It’s a good-value option in Padang.

The first room I was given smelled bad because it was a smoking room. I raised it with reception, and they moved me to a better room. Please check guests’ preferences when they book and improve that part of the service.

The location is strategic and the price is within budget. The room felt like three-star quality, while the service was closer to four-star. I’d suggest improving cleanliness, service, and the quality of the facilities.

The bedroom and bathroom were clean and comfortable, and breakfast tasted good. But there’s no Wi-Fi, no phone to call reception, and the TV channels use a satellite dish and weren’t working. I hope they improve things going forward.
