Handy hostel for a quick night before catching a morning boat from the harbor. You can check in late, most boating offices are within walking distance, and the rooms have air conditioning too 👍

Breakfast is included, egg toast with tea or coffee, just what you need. The service is good, and the balconies are lovely with a great view over town and bay. Rooms are basic but suit a one- or two-night stay before the ferry. There’s a fan in each room, while only some have AC.

Everything else was quite nice, but the hospitality was disappointing. Checkout is at 10:30 and they wouldn’t let us leave any later. After we checked out, the staff wouldn’t even let my boyfriend use the toilet!

The hosts were so helpful and very, very nice, and they made fresh breakfasts each morning. We were surprised by how large and lovely the property was, with a courtyard by the rooms and seats outside. The rooms are basic, but for the price they have everything you need. It’s centrally located with plenty of bars and restaurants for a short stay. We spent two nights here before taking the ferry over to Gili T and would definitely stay again.

There’s a little shop on the ground floor for snacks and drinks, and a gorgeous common area upstairs for relaxing with ocean and sunset views. It’s great value for money and super clean compared with similar-priced hotels and hostels we’ve stayed in. A nice family runs the place. WiFi was a bit hit and miss, but phone reception is really good, so with a local SIM card and data you can still get online without issues.
