We arrived at 14.00 and the issue wasn’t sorted out until 17.00. We resolved it through the app, and in the end we didn’t stay. If you book online here at a low rate, contact the hotel first or plan to pay in person. We were told we could only check in if we paid extra on top of our online booking, and no refund was offered. The hotel says it no longer works with “Oyo,” but this problem still hasn’t been resolved. Many customers have lost money because there’s no clear answer.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The site manager canceled the room we’d booked through the app, and I think it was so he could sell it to someone else for more. It seems to me he does this often for his own profit.

From here, you get a lovely view across the tea plantation, mountains, and city.

Every pillow smelled bad. What was that smell?
