Adelia Residence By Oyo Room

Watch out for the black-haired repairmen who offer to move your car, saying the car in front needs to get out. Better to move it yourself if they make that offer.

The receptionist was incredibly rude and unfriendly. I'd booked through the Oyo app, but when I got there to check in, they turned me away, saying they no longer work with Oyo or Reddors. If they aren't working with any apps anymore, they should take the listing down. Don't leave guests upset after they've arrived expecting to stay. Thank you.

The cheap OYO rate came with a demand for extra payment when I arrived. They said that price was a Monday-Friday promotion, so why does OYO offer such a low rate? It felt like a scam. The room and toilet were dirty, the sheets smelled, and there was no tissue or drinking water.

They wanted an extra 50,000 Rupiah for a couple with a 4-year-old child. The room was damp and smelled really musty, and the sheets were dusty. The walls were damp too, as the photo shows. There was no soap or anything else provided. I'd rather sleep in the car. I'd never book here again, even though it's the only accommodation in Palembang.
