Emilia Hotel By Amazing - Palembang

We got a free room upgrade, possibly because it was peak season. The room was a little dated but clean, and breakfast offered plenty of choices, though staff were slow to refill dishes. There was cotton candy for the kids, which seems to be a favorite with almost every child. The candy maker looked nervous, and the busy season made for a bit of chaos. My kids waited over an hour, but they had some fun watching it being made. The hotel sits behind a mall and has lots of parking, though most of it is a bit of a walk from the lobby. There's only a small lot right by the entrance, which is also a public route into the mall. The hotel itself is pretty good.

For the price and a three-star hotel, I was surprised by how roomy the room was. There was extra space like a living room, plus a bathtub. Breakfast tasted fine and had lots of options. The staff were nice, and being right by a mall makes the location convenient. Great for a three-star stay.

The location is the hotel's strong point, with a shopping mall and local places serving Palembang cuisine nearby. Check-in and check-out went smoothly. The room was spacious and fine, though the air conditioning needs improvement. Breakfast was reasonably priced, with a few local choices that tasted good enough.

We stayed in room 401. It was on the small side but had enough space, and the water pressure was good. They also supplied slippers, head towels as well as regular hotel towels, and plenty of tissues. The hotel is clean and comfortable despite being inexpensive, and it's close to Palembang Indah Mall. I love this place and recommend it for a stay in Palembang.
