The shared kitchen has useful basics, including an ironing board, and there’s water to refill. The rooms were pretty clean and roomy enough for our group. I booked a superior room and a family room for several friends. The location near the city centre worked well, though there isn’t much to walk to nearby, so having a car or motorcycle helps. Staff weren’t especially friendly, but they did help when needed. For the price, it’s a good place to stay.

There’s plenty of parking in the small alley, and getting around the city from here is easy. The rooms are fairly spacious and the building looks nice, but upkeep is poor. Rain gets in through leaks.

The bathroom was spacious and clean, but the bedroom wasn’t very clean. The room itself has decent space. The bed makes noise, and both the room and sheets smelled of cigarettes and sweat.

The room was dirty and smelled of cigarettes. There was no hot water, and it wasn’t clean.

For what it costs, I expected more. It feels like a boarding house rather than a hotel, and lots of basics are missing: no TV service, closet, drinking water, blanket, or hot water. The sheets and towels looked unwashed, and the air conditioning in some rooms doesn’t cool. There are much better places for the same price.
