After traveling from Jakarta in the morning, I got to Palembang around 1 AM, exhausted, and was told there were no rooms, even though I’d booked two days ahead on Traveloka. They said app bookings were handled first come, first served, so my room hadn’t been set aside. A confirmed booking should mean the room is there. This was the worst hotel. If management can’t handle app customers, it’s better not to use the app. Getting a refund is easy, they said, but the amount won’t match what I paid through the app. App users should think twice before staying here.

The room was untidy, and the whole situation was a mess. I booked through the app, then was asked for another 50,000 Rupiah because they said it hadn’t been updated. After that, I didn’t even feel like doing anything.

I cancelled after arriving and finding that the place didn’t match the app listing. It’s a boarding house, not a hotel, and the cleanliness was awful. They also asked for an extra 50 per room on top of the app price. They said the refund would come within 1x24 hours, but that turned out to be a lie. Worst hotel I’ve found.

The hotel isn’t in a strategic location, and my room was up on the third floor. Nobody from the staff helped with my suitcase. There was a balcony where I could dry clothes, and the room itself was nice.

For that price, this was really not worth it. The floor was wet and filthy, and there was a pile of rubbish under the bed. The air conditioning wasn’t cold either. I swear, was the floor even swept? It was disgusting.
