Wyndham Opi Hotel Palembang

We had to wait a long time for help from reception, and there were bedbugs in the room. The pool was pretty dirty too. But the extra breakfast charge for children was the last straw for me. My daughter doesn’t eat much on staycations, but with this added cost her mom told her to eat more. It’s ridiculous to make young children pay as if they eat like savages. This was my first stay at this Hotel, and it was really unpleasant. The service and everything else were lacking. I can put up with some things, but not that rule. I’m not sure how this hotel got recommended before. We’re definitely not coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My family and I stay here almost every chance we get. We love staying here, and the service and everything else are 100/10. Love them, love everyone here 😩💓💓

It seems fine in other respects, but for a hotel that presents itself as five-star, I felt it was only four-star because some areas need changes. At check-in, the reception counter took too long, and being asked for more documents made me feel disrespected. They also required a Rp 500.000 deposit, and I don’t know what it was for since there’s no mini in the room. The basement car park has no lift, the exit door is closed, and the lights are dim, so you can only see a little of the cars there. There’s no hotel safe in the room either, so I don’t know how to secure my valuables when I go out. At breakfast they always ask for my name and room number. That doesn’t feel respectful to customers and makes us feel disgusted.
