The coffee staff member, miss Michel, was polite, and Burhanuddin at dinner in the restaurant was quick to respond when my friend and I raised our hands. Pupung, Rio and Yolanda at the front desk also gave us a warm welcome. The young staff showed real hospitality, and management should see them as valuable assets. I found the room clean and quiet even though it's near the main road, and I was pleased to recommend Aston Palu for a vacation or work stay.

The restaurant guy was really helpful, and the food was delicious. Room service was awesome too. The hotel's downtown location is close to the airport, and the general service was nice.

We had just driven 12 hours from Bada Valley when the security guard, Mail, told us to move our guide’s car. He was arrogant and spoke to us rudely. We travel often, staying at both five-star hotels and local homestays, and have never had service this poor. Security staff are usually friendly and helpful. I don't think Mail understands basic hospitality. At a hotel like Aston, which wants to be a leading brand in Indonesia, this is a serious mark against its reputation. Security is the first impression guests get, so the team needs proper training.

The location was so convenient, and the staff were helpful. We had a very comfortable stay, with a clean room and a great breakfast. Highly recommended!
