The Agoda listing promises a shower, but my bathroom had only a pipe coming out of the wall. It also advertises Wi-Fi, yet my room showed no network signal and staff gave me no login details for any hotel network. The non-smoking claim on Agoda didn’t match what I saw either: people smoked in the corridors and front lounge, and it seemed the previous guests had smoked in my room. Staff told them smoking was allowed despite the clear signs. I know it’s a budget hotel, but I’m angry that OYO misrepresented the amenities online. I believed the listing, and that’s on me too.

The towels were dirty, and it looked like someone had thrown up in the elevator. I was given a windowless room even though the OYO app showed a room with a window. They asked for 80k extra; I paid 100k and got no change. It was a terrible stay, and I won’t come back.

I’d booked well in advance, but they told me, “Sorry, we cannot find your reservation.” Then I got to the room and found no shower head, and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Very disappointed.

There’s a restaurant in the lobby serving local food 👍

The floors should be cleaned every four hours. There should also be a taxi to the airport available for guests to order.
