The Luku Boutique Villa and Gallery

The villa is down a hill, so it may not suit anyone with mobility problems. And because it’s by a river in the jungle, expect to see creatures like bats, birds, geckos, and others. That’s not unusual in Indonesia. It’s next to a traditional village, so you get a feel for local Balinese life, but there aren’t many restaurants, bars, or grocery stores within walking distance. I’d recommend renting a scooter. Canggu and Tanah Lot aren’t far away. Inside, the house was spacious, clean, and well designed, with just the right amount of luxury for us. We loved having a private pool and the villas’ layout gave us privacy. We felt like royals when the delicious breakfast arrived at our villa each day. Ibu Dewi and the rest of the staff were amazing and made our two-week stay at The Luku unforgettable. Everything worked out perfectly for us. It’s a real hidden gem in nature.

There were so many cockroaches and mosquitoes, and the place was very dusty, including the bed. Please check it. The staff were the only thing that was very friendly.

The staff were so helpful, and the villa was lovely. We had our own private pool too.

The rooms were clean and nice, the staff were great, and it’s a beautiful spot.
