The pool was one of the things I liked on my first visit, along with the modern beach-style interior, good food and rooftop restaurant view. I enjoyed that stay enough to return, and the room was still spacious and clean. This time, though, the pool towel supply was empty. I had to use my bath towel until it was soaked, and reception and housekeeping said the towels were all in the wash, so I couldn't get a dry replacement. It was still a nice stay, with the market nearby and motorbike rental right outside.

We barely interacted with the staff, though they seemed perfectly nice. The deluxe room had plenty of space for four, with two queen beds, and the bathroom was carefully cleaned, with fresh towels and sheets and a mopped floor. Breakfast started with a basic Western meal, then Indonesian dishes were available from the next morning onward. It was buffet style with a few choices, so there was enough to eat. The location worked really well, close to restaurants, the beach and the National Park, which was a pleasant place for a walk. Visiting the cave there to see porcupines is a must. The beach itself was dirty, and the so-called sea view looked industrial. Nearby construction will almost wipe that view out when it's finished, which is a real pity. Ants in the room were present, as is common in Indonesia, but weren't a big problem. The lack of a fridge was a significant drawback for a hotel of this standard.

Breakfast was great and the Wi-Fi worked fairly well. There weren't many TV channels, but I didn't come to spend all day in the room. The staff were friendly, and the receptionist can help arrange a scooter rental if you need one.

The room was a pleasant surprise, with enough space for four adults and two kids. We stayed two days, and since the hotel restaurant closes at 3 pm, the front office helped us get dinner delivered from a nearby place. It left a good first impression 😊😊😍

There were some extra people with us beyond the four the room was booked for, but it was still roomy enough for everyone. The room was clean and cozy, and I think I'll recommend this hotel to family and friends.
