The Nibbana Villas

We had nine unforgettable days at the villa, and the holiday was amazing. Our assistants, Wayang and Ketum, were polite and responsible. We wanted to relax and enjoy Bali, so we may have chosen to overlook a few small shortcomings. It was worth it. I recommend this villa!

They told us the villa had given our room away, with no explanation for cancelling. My family of five and I arrived at 3:45 pm after an hour in an Uber, unloaded all our luggage, and were ready to check in. It was a busy weekend with nowhere else available nearby. The replacement they offered was run-down, one-star accommodation and we couldn't accept it. After sitting by the roadside with our bags for two hours, we managed to find another villa. They said they'd reimburse our Uber fare, but the money never came. Don't rely on this villa.

Wayan and Ketut were such lovely people, going out of their way every day to make sure we were comfortable. The villa was beautiful, with a large pool, spacious bathrooms, and clean rooms. We absolutely recommend Bali Nibbana Resort and will definitely return.

It feels tucked away and quiet, with a lovely bamboo-lined alley leading from the main entrance. The pool is large enough for a proper swim, and the bedrooms are comfortable. This works well as a peaceful base for a small group, but there are probably better choices if you want a bigger lounging area. There was some overlap with the only other guest, who was waiting for friends, but it wasn't a problem. We booked that day after our other villa let us down and couldn't check us in until 8 pm. Wayan called soon after we booked to ask when we'd arrive, and met us when we got there. He's a very friendly, helpful young man. He even returned a key to a previous villa that I'd accidentally left in my pocket. When we were leaving for the airport at 5 am, our booked taxi didn't show. Wayan came over, and I rode on his scooter to the main road to flag down a cab, which was a lifesaver. The street outside isn't busy, so you'll need your own car or scooter, or use Go-Jek or Grab. Otherwise, it's a 10-minute walk up the road to find a taxi.
