The room itself was clean and new, with WiFi, working AC and TV, lots of outlets, clean towels, a water heater, bottled water, and a clean toilet. There were only two hangers in the wardrobe and nowhere outside to dry clothes; my first floor room near the lobby had no balcony. The AC was a little noisy, positioned right above my head while I slept. The toilet tank also took a long time to refill, so there was a wait between flushes. I appreciated the prayer mats, sarongs, prayer robes and Quran, though, as at many hotels, there was no information showing the Qibla direction. I arrived eight days before Eid and got a discount on the deluxe room. It was pouring when I arrived, and water in front was above my ankles. I couldn't park because the lot was crowded with vendors and motorbikes sheltering from the rain. There was no parking attendant, the admin's WhatsApp wasn't active, and nobody was on duty in the lobby. Apparently, they were fixing something on the second floor. The TV's regular antenna channel wasn't connected to WiFi, so I couldn't set up YouTube. Parking space was limited.

Watching monkeys in the morning was a fun bonus you don't get at other hotels, and I was quite satisfied overall. The downside is that there doesn't seem to be an elevator for elderly guests or children. Getting up to the third floor can be tiring.

Lots of monkeys around, which can be a plus. Just be careful with the window: if you open it by accident, monkeys may come at you and give you a real shock. What about the children?
