We loved the setting, with different spots to sit and views out over the beach, and the breakfast had a good selection of fresh food. We stayed two nights in the executive room. At first it seemed spacious and quite luxurious, but it clearly needs maintenance once you look more closely. One balcony door wouldn’t open, the shower needs new silicone and grout, and the furniture needs repairs. The coat hangers are too high, and although the bed was comfortable, the sheets and cover could be replaced, especially for an executive room. I’d definitely come back.

The one thing I liked was the architecture. The bathroom was dirty and smelled bad, and it seemed they hadn't changed the bedcover after the previous guest. There wasn’t much variety in the food, and the restaurant didn’t stay open 24 hours, despite the menu in every room saying it did. Parking is limited too.

The view was the only good part. We stopped for coffee and tea, but the coffee was the worst I’ve had in Indonesia, and my girlfriend thought the green tea was horrible. The service was painfully slow. I wouldn’t recommend it or go back.

The cafe architecture was the only thing I liked, but the cafe is always closed, so the building feels useless. Our room was awful: the bathroom smelled, the bedcover hadn’t been changed from the last guest, the AC didn’t work and it felt like an oven, and the TV was broken. There wasn’t much food choice, and the restaurant wasn’t open 24 hours even though every room’s menu claimed it was. The parking lot is small too.

My kids were so happy being this close to the beach. I really like the hotel's unique architecture, and the facilities are top-notch. The staff are friendly and the food and drinks are nice. I’d especially recommend it for a hotel near the beach.
