Long Beach Hotel Pangandaran

The pool is fairly large and the interior looks nice. The building seems recently renovated, so it also looks good from outside. It's right across from Pangandaran beach, though getting to the west beach or white sand beach is a long way if that's where you want to go. Breakfast runs from 7:30 to 10, which felt late and shorter than at other restaurants. By 9, most of the food, iced drinks, and fruit were gone. When I asked for an omelette, they said there were no eggs left. I paid 1.27 million for what should have covered four people, and they couldn't provide even one egg. My room wasn't ready when I arrived at 1:30 pm. Lots of people were waiting for their rooms to be cleaned, and I didn't get mine until 2:40. It was still quite wet. The shower never got very hot, even on the highest setting, and there was no hot water at the sink either. They only provided a bar of soap. Tall trees blocked the view from my room, so I wouldn't count a view as one of the facilities. At checkout, they handed back my ID card with the sticker glue still stuck to it 😂. Hotels keeping an ID card is unusual to me, but if they do, the staff should take care of it. The worst part came when we tried to leave the parking area. We were stuck for an hour because another car was parked behind ours. They let two cars park in one row before the street, but had no valet system. We'd told them before breakfast that we planned to leave, yet there was still no solution when we returned. There were lots of staff in the parking area, but they didn't try to find the car's owner. They just kept playing and laughing. After 40-50 minutes, one staff member checked on the situation again, and the others still weren't sure of the other car's license plate number. Do customers have to get angry before anyone rushes to solve a problem? The coordination was a mess.

The bed and bedding were very comfortable, and the pool was nice, but we ended up with the worst room in the place. It seems there are much nicer rooms, though we booked a cheap one through agota. We had to wait while they cleaned it. There were ants around the bathroom, no sink, and no hot water.

The location is great, with the beach just across the road. The pool is awesome and the kids' playground is cool. Our room was clean, with a good mattress and pillow, and cold AC. The bathroom was clean too, though the water pressure was a bit low. Breakfast and service were okay. Wifi signal in the bungalow was weak.
