The quiet surroundings made it easy to get some rest, since there aren't restaurants or bars nearby. It's on the west side of Pangandaran, about a two-minute walk from the beach. The room was nice, though I did find a cockroach in it. Breakfast was fried rice with crackers, but it tasted a bit plain to me. The AC worked well, which mattered in the heat, while the water heater took a little while to reach a good temperature.

The pool was great, and the room had good air conditioning. Breakfast was simple, but the staff tried to make guests comfortable. They speak only a little English, though a guide named rachid is often around and speaks English and Dutch. You can book him for trips like Green Valley at a good price. He explains a lot and is honest. He even helped me get my mobile phone back from badung!

There's often a guide around called rasyid who speaks English and Dutch, and he's really helpful and friendly. The hotel itself is decent, and although the staff don't speak English very well, they're very friendly too.

The building is a little old, but everything was tidy and the housekeeping was good. It's an economy hotel with a clean pool, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and friendly staff, though they don't speak foreign languages.
