That big terrace overlooking the lake and the good cleaning service were highlights of my 4-day stay. I had no complaints about the room, and the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. I also loved every drink I had there, they were fresh and excellent. The restaurant, though, was another story. The dining staff didn't seem well trained in serving dishes, maybe they were part-time student workers. We got the wrong orders and ingredients many times, and sometimes a plate wasn't even put on a placemat 🤣. One waitress didn't know how to open a beer bottle, and even someone who seemed to be a manager didn't know how to pour beer properly. Don't expect much from the food either. The Western dishes were very average and probably weren't even cooked there. I don't complain often, but I have a lot to say about the restaurant. It's a shame, since negative things stick more than positive ones, and I was expecting Western standards. Even so, I really enjoyed my stay and hope they can do even better.

The scenery was stunning and the beach was clean. The staff were so helpful, and the food was delicious. We had a great family or friends vacation here, a perfect place to unwind!

The beach is really nice, and the ferry to the island is only a few minutes away. The property is kept very clean and well maintained, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We felt it was a great deal for the money, whether you get an updated room or not. The rooms that haven't been updated yet are still very nice and much cheaper, with the same view. Our own room was also well priced and had an awesome, incredible hue. My one suggestion is to offer more Western food options. Thanks for having us as guests. We arrived on 4.28.25 for about three days during a five-week stay in Indonesia, and this was our tenth hotel. There are a set of rooms down the hall that have been updated, unlike the ones we're staying in. The unupdated ones are just as nice as the one eye man.

The breakfast is good, and the beds are comfortable. We had a spacious family room with a nice view over Lake Toba. The only issue was that the shower head holder didn't work.

The location is a real plus, close to the port with a nice view, and the staff were generally friendly. Still, they seemed poorly trained. I had to ask about Wi-Fi and breakfast hours, information I expected at check-in. I booked a refurbished family room and a superior room, and paid an extra IDR 500k for the refurbished one. It was very disappointing. I hadn't realized this was Inna Parapat when I chose it, and the hotel feels old and worn out.
