There was no view from the room, and getting to any sights or even the city center meant more than a walk. Parking, at least, was plentiful. The room was just 2 by 3 meters for two people, with no AC, fan, TV, desk, or soundproofing. The hot and cold shower worked fine, and a modest breakfast was included. At IDR 460.000 a night, it felt way too expensive for a standard room. I won't stay again.

It felt like staying in a haunted house. The hotel was so dark, old, and dirty that I was uncomfortable, and there didn't seem to be any staff around. It was open for business, but the whole place felt abandoned. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone hoping for a pleasant stay.

The door lock didn't work properly, and the staff couldn't speak English. The room was filthy, with no basic things like toilet paper, and there wasn't even a washbasin. There was just one power socket, set so high I couldn't charge my device. Avoid if you can.

We used the place for one night before heading on to Lake Toba. The cottage-style building looks nice, though it has lots of steps and isn't accessible for people with disabilities. Our room was generally okay, but the staff weren't very attentive.
