Airy Premier Pulau Samosir 9 Parapat

We were happy with our stay and would choose this hotel again. The staff were very polite, the food was delicious, and room service was reasonably priced if you’re still hungry at night. Our room was in the old wing, number 135. It was a long walk with lots of steps, but the room was quiet and cool, with plenty of space and two single beds. The interior is aging, though the comfortable beds and roomy layout made up for that. For a newer room with an elevator and a better shower, choose the new building above reception, but rooms for two there are smaller. The hotel is right in front of the jetty where boats leave for Samosir Island.

A pleasant stay near Pantai Bebas. Our room was clean, comfortable, and fairly spacious, and the service was satisfying. Breakfast tasted good and had a decent variety, though there was no milk. It’s a good place to stay with friends or family. Last stayed: 2 September 2025.

The hotel overlooks Lake Toba, and there’s a small jetty right across from it where you can walk out for photos close to the water. The weather was cool and windy, and catching a ferry straight to Samosir Island was convenient. I stayed at Atsari Hotel Parapat three days ago. My ground-floor room faced the swimming pool area and was spacious and clean. The chef kindly made me a hearty vegetarian dinner, and I loved the area.

The breakfast wasn’t very good, and karaoke goes on every night until 11:30 pm. Still, I’d definitely recommend staying here over the other rundown places in town. I had a great two-night stay. The rooms are a high standard and seem to have been renovated recently, even though the hotel overall feels kind of old. The bed and pillow were soft, the air conditioning was old but cold, and there was hot water. I’ve never had a room with six ashtrays before, but I guess most people here smoke.
