Breakfast was brought right to our balcony at no extra charge, where we could spot monkeys and squirrels. The rooms looked like the photos and were very clean. I came for the skyview shower and enjoyed the hospitality. It’s a bit tucked away in the village, but they offer half-day and full-day outings with a driver and transport.

It’s a little way down the road, and that meant I got to see local life, with people greeting me each morning. Gojek and Grab both worked well. For Gojek, enter Be Bali hut farm stay. On Grab, that name didn’t appear for me, so I used the street and location shown on Google Maps. The bungalow is surrounded by a lovely mini rainforest, with birds singing and a cute kitty on my balcony in the mornings. There’s no traffic noise or chaos. The host and team were very warm and kept checking on the room. There are inevitably some bugs, which I found acceptable. I think Ubud generally isn’t for people who are afraid of bugs or mosquitoes. A lovely quiet spot for nature lovers. I’ll come back with friends, or on my own, many times!

We really didn’t want to leave, and we’ll definitely come back. It felt warm and cozy, like home, and the staff were caring and always ready to help. Monkeys came by, which was a joy to watch. They weren’t dangerous at all, just doing their own thing. We also got attached to the local cats, especially sweet Deny. ❤️

A bungalow in the jungle, with a shower under the open sky. The people are friendly, service is good, and if you get lucky, monkeys drop by. The cats were great too.

Mornings started with a fresh, tasty breakfast that we really looked forward to. The huts were comfortable and kept in lovely condition, and the stay felt peaceful and close to nature. Everything had an authentic, serene feel. A little paradise, highly recommended.
