The staff were friendly, and the room had a big bed, AC, TV, and towels. But room 209 is a dump. The bathroom looked pretty ugly and had no sink. Hot water was good, cold water was very poor, and the toilet did flush. Water kept running across the floor, though. The door was badly damaged and felt very unsafe. The ceiling had a big dirty hole, and the blanket was small, scratchy, and not big enough for two. There's no lift, so avoid the stairs if walking is difficult. Really, just avoid this place. We paid SGD $27 for one night through the Agoda App, and it really wasn't worth it. The room was run-down, with dirty sheets, pillows, toilet, and stains on the walls. We asked for a non-smoking room in the booking app, but ours smelled of cigarettes. There were no bath or floor towels in the room. We went down to reception and got just one bath towel, with the staff saying they'd run out. The air conditioning wasn't cold even at 16°C, and the bathroom drain backed up during showers. At check-in, staff told us all rooms were booked, but somehow we were given one. The pictures on the hotel booking site don't match the place. There are definitely better hotels in Pare-Pare city.

It was really, really dirty, and the price wasn't worth it. We'd planned to stay around three days, but could only manage four hours before checking the hell out.
