Blackbird Hotel Bandung

The onsen was a real plus, and the service was amazing. It was our first time here with the kids, and the price felt affordable. In the Medium + Onsen room, though, I’d have liked a bit more comfort. The room has a somewhat vintage feel 😄, and the corridors you have to walk through aren’t very comfortable. I’ll try the Drum room next time.

We’ve stayed at Blackbird twice, both times in Residence 1 with Jacuzzi, and found it pleasant and comfortable for our small family. It has two bedrooms, though only one has an en-suite bathroom; the other bathroom is outside the second bedroom. We’d happily choose this room type again. A laundry bag would be useful in every room. On our last visit, we had to ask reception to bring one. It’d also be easier to reach the soap and shampoo if their dispensers were inside the shower, rather than by the toilet or washbasin. One little wish for Blackbird: more three-bedroom Residence units, with an en-suite bathroom in every room. We’d love to return 😊

I came for the hot spring onsen-style soaking pool and really enjoyed it, especially at night. It was cloudy and raining when I arrived, which made everything feel peaceful. The minimalist industrial room was comfortable, and all the facilities worked properly. Breakfast had lots of tasty options, and the picnic-style dining area was cozy. I’d gladly come back.

Our villa had a jacuzzi, which my daughter loved, and the breakfast was nice too. We spent one night at villa 345. The room was very clean and the service was tip-top. We had an amazing stay at Black Bird and would definitely return. Thanks for the hospitality.
