Butternut Tree Townhomes

The villas sit on higher ground, so there was plenty of ventilation and a breeze all day. The shower worked well, and check-in was buttery smooth, with very friendly, helpful staff. The place was spot clean and had plenty of utensils for the whole family. There’s also a private bedroom for the driver with its own bathroom, which seemed considerate in the design. The location is a great distance from the city center: close enough to reach the heart of town within 15 minutes, but far enough away for quiet nights.

We had a lot of fun here with friends. It’s a good place for a night or more with a group of over five, the price is reasonable, and the view is nice. It can be warmer here than in the city center, so it’s not the villa for you if you’re after cold mountain air.

We stayed here for a private family getaway. The main bedroom is roomy, while the other two are just okay, though a queen bed might be enough. There’s hardly any furniture in the bedrooms, not even a coffee table. It also seemed understaffed, even over the weekend. The Google Maps location needs updating: there are duplicate listings and the pin is a little off the actual spot. That’s important for the owner to fix.

For the price, you get a tidy room with good furnishings, design, layout, and materials. The view is very good, the bathroom has hot water, and there’s a garage for two cars. There’s also a bedroom and bathroom for the driver, plus enough facilities.
