Grand Hani Hotel

I first stayed here for an office meeting, then came back for a weekend with my family. It’s a good place for a three-star hotel, with decent breakfast and room service. I love the spacious family rooms, especially when travelling with kids. The staff were also quick to respond when we had a hot water problem. One thing to watch is bathroom cleanliness: I found a lot of hair on the floor by the washbasin and in the corridors.

It’s not that bad, but it is a bit dirty. If you’re on the first floor, there’s a door leading to some fences, though I don’t know if that’s true of every room. Also, muddy water came out when I turned on the sink tap, so be careful and stay safe.

The stay fell a little short of what I expected. A standard room may put you in the “budget” building, and some rooms don’t have running water. Our hot water wasn’t working properly either. The staff dealt with our complaints quickly and moved us to a new room. Breakfast was okay, with just one chicken option, one vegetable option, and three kinds of carbs.

Grand Hani Hotel feels comfy and homey, and the staff and service were kind and good. The deluxe room was spacious, with a separate dining room, sofa, balcony, and bathtub. The problem was the gas water heater. When I used it, the room filled with a gas smell, and the water still wasn’t hot, so it was useless. I hope Grand Hani considers switching to an electric heater. The food and breakfast tasted good, and the room was spacious for an affordable rate.
