Jadul Adarapura Resort & Spa

It’s very quiet here and close to town, and the staff were friendly and helpful. My room was great, like a little Indonesian timber house, with a lovely bathroom featuring a big stone bath and a separate shower. The restaurant food was neither great nor bad, and the selection was limited. I’d still come back.

The fresh morning air was a real plus, and the staff were friendly and helped us find another place to hang out around jadul village. There’s a spa, a spacious park with chairs, swings and bales (small houses), and a fish pond. The resort has a row of wooden-style houses, each with different offerings, and ours was clean, well maintained, and stocked with toiletries. Breakfast was so-so, and we didn't try the menu. Since it's near the main road, you can hear motorbikes and cars passing. That wasn't nice at night while trying to sleep.

I came along while my friend went for a spa treatment and walked around to see the different accommodations. There are options for couples, families, or groups of families, with different themes, which was nice. The price seemed high, though there are hardly any competitors nearby. If you're planning a spa visit, book ahead because the therapist isn't always there, and you could wait around half an hour to an hour. My friend said the treatment was good and affordable, around 250rb++ for two hours.

For a restful break with calm, comfort, plenty of space, and lovely natural scenery, this place fits the bill. Its spacious rooms bring together ethnic details and a modern touch, making it a nice setting for a holiday or family gathering.
