Ascent Premiere Pasuruan

I was surprised by how good the breakfast buffet was, with Indonesian and Japanese dishes, fresh fruit, omelets, and especially refreshing ginger tea. The hotel is also close to the city center, which is handy for business or leisure. I arrived late, around 10 or 10:30 PM after a long journey, but the staff welcomed me warmly and made check-in quick. Room 507 was clean and ready for me, with a comfortable bed, fresh sheets, clean towels, complimentary water, coffee, and hangers. I slept well, and the hospitality, cleanliness, food, and location all exceeded my expectations. A definite 5 out of 5 for Ascent Premiere Hotel Pasuruan.

This may be the most comfortable hotel in Pasuruan, but cleanliness needs attention. The building is old, though keeping it clean is still very important.

Nusantara Restaurant was a highlight, with a good range of mid-priced Eastern and Western dishes, plus a separate non-smoking room on the veranda. The restaurant staff, including the host, were friendly and ready to help. I was in East Java for work and found the hotel's location convenient for getting around to interesting places. The atmosphere was calm and well maintained, and the pool had a lovely view and was a nice place to unwind. I've stayed at H brand-managed hotels over the past few months, so that feel was familiar. Everyone, from senior staff to rank-and-file, was warm and welcoming. The young woman at the front desk quickly arranged an early check-in for me while multitasking. A few areas could be better: the pool had no attendant, the corridors leading there felt quite empty, perhaps because it wasn't the weekend, and the spa booth seemed unmanned. Still, it was a comfortable, enjoyable stay, and I'll return on my next work trip to East Java.

The pool was clean and inviting, a great place to relax after a long day, and the meals I tried were delicious, well prepared, and served promptly. My room was spotless, even though it was a smoking room, and everything felt fresh and well kept. The price for this comfort and service was the best value I've found. Every staff member I met was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. I’m already looking forward to coming back to Ascent Premiere.
