Rumah Jawa Guest House (Syariah)

We felt at home from the moment we arrived, thanks to the welcoming, kind staff. The host, whose name I unfortunately can’t recall, went out of their way to make us comfortable and had some delightful conversations with us about Indonesia and its cultural heritage, with plenty of witty sarcasm. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious, and there was tea and traditional snacks available 24/7. The cleanliness was impeccable, down to the smallest details. We had an exceptional stay at Rumah Jawa Guest House and highly recommend it for a warm, charming, well-cared-for experience.

A quiet spot in town with good value and easy parking in the narrow gang. Breakfast was a treat, served by the garden and koi pond with a panoramic view of the sky. Inside, everything was super tidy, with a humble, classic feel, and the crew provided excellent hospitality. Proudly recommend staying more than one night.

Such a lovely, beautiful place 😍 The staff are kind, the rooms are clean, and breakfast is delicious. There are nice restaurants and coffee places nearby, plus a massage centre. They can arrange a taxi to the temples at a good price 💕

There are lots of nice places to eat close by, and the guest house itself is beautiful. The staff welcomed us warmly, our room was lovely and very clean, and the local breakfast was amazing. I’m especially grateful to the host lady with the beautiful eyes, who took it upon herself to fix my booking error. We’d have stayed the extra night, but she sorted things out so we could continue to our next destination. I highly recommend this guest house. You won’t be disappointed.
