The room and linen were reasonably clean, but maintenance was poorly handled. We booked a deluxe room with a queen bed and got two singles instead. Small additions like hangers and somewhere to put luggage would be easy and inexpensive to provide. The bathroom tap barely let water through and needed replacing, while the pool loungers and rusty bathroom curtains also need attention. Breakfast was included, but it wasn’t served there, so we had to walk about 200 metres to a restaurant. In my view, most of these issues would be easy to fix.

Really good for the price, and the top deck has a beautiful view. You can walk to the surf from here. Komang is a great host and a great guy. Highly recommend!

The location is decent, but you need a scooter anyway, so I’d choose somewhere better for this price. It looked completely different from the pictures. There were no sinks, and the bathroom, towels, and duvet cover didn’t look like they were cleaned often. The sheets were very dirty and mouldy underneath, and some rooms were too dark. Sorry, but there are plenty of better places for the same money.

We got a free room upgrade when we arrived, and I loved the wide window by the bathtub. I could soak in a hot bath while watching the sunset. The room was quite large with a balcony, though the bed was rather hard. The guesthouse is close to the beach and Single Fin, and the staff were very friendly. There were some friendly dogs at reception; one followed me and waited outside my room, and I felt so bad that I wanted to take him home.
