The air conditioning worked really well, but the place wasn’t especially clean and there was no bin in the room. The light was very dim at night. When we arrived, the door had been left open and there were lots of flies inside, so we had to buy spray.

The rooms are spacious, and there’s a lovely pool and garden. It’s a calm, quiet place in a good spot, with restaurants, a mini market, and laundry right across the street. You can also rent motorbikes here. The staff were really nice and friendly!

The owners are super friendly, and the green garden is lovely. The place is well located, and it wasn’t as humid or mouldy as some other places. Checking in at 3 a.m. was no problem. Ants and mosquitoes vary by room, though. I had one room with quite a few, while my second room was pretty good in that respect.

The owner is a wonderful woman who’s always willing to help. We had a great time at baik baik homestay. Some rooms are a bit run down, but they’re spacious and the beds are really comfortable. For the price, it’s a perfect stay for a budget traveler.

Ketut runs one of the area's oldest homestays, and she's always so helpful and kind. It's a simple local place, nothing fancy, but it's cheap and you can stay by the month too. 👌🇮🇩
