AVOID AT ALL COST! I booked and paid through agoda two months ahead, but the booking was canceled because the hotel said it was fully booked. When I checked online, the same room was still being sold, only at a higher price. If you need to feel sure you’ll have somewhere to stay, don’t book here.
For a two-night stay, the lack of a mini fridge wasn’t a major problem, though it meant we couldn’t keep drinks or snacks in the room. Every other place we’d stayed at around Bali had one. Mana Uluwatu is 800 meters away and, in my opinion, a must-go. We had dinner there once and lunch by the pool another time. Pairing a couple of lunches there with this no-frills accommodation would be my recommendation for sunset time by the pool and excellent food. The place was good value and close enough to the sights, sunset spots, and food we wanted.
The surroundings were peaceful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. My room was newly furnished and spotless, and the bathroom was impressive. I had a fantastic stay.
I arrived after 8 pm for my Agoda reservation and found no reception or anyone on site. I ended up stranded without a place to stay.
They canceled my booking at the last minute to get more money.
