The little wooden cabin was cute, and I liked seeing the monkeys around. The staff were friendly too. But I had one of the worst nights of my life after a centipede bit me. It was really painful and made it hard to feel comfortable sleeping there. I only had one night left, so I tried to tough it out. They should seal up the open spots in the cabins and make sure the door closes all the way, so insects like that can’t get inside. I liked the look of the place, but unfortunately the stay wasn’t a good experience.

For $9, having a private room in Bali was incredible. It was clean, the staff were friendly, and the swimming pool was nice.

I was unsure about booking after reading the reviews, but needed somewhere for just one night and the location sounded good. The place was neat and tidy, small and simple, and the staff were friendly enough. The WiFi was poor. In the morning, I went to shower but found only cold water, and there was a terrible smell, so I skipped it since I was moving somewhere else.

The staff were friendly, though they spoke limited English. Google Translate helped us communicate. The room itself was disappointing: mould on the walls, a substandard bathroom, hair in the beds, and no door on the toilet. When you shower, the smell from the drain lingers in the room. The owner should take more pride in the place.

I only needed a simple, budget-friendly room as a solo traveller, and this suited me. There were dogs around. I walked everywhere, and Pedang Pedang Beach was less than a 10-minute walk away. The pool was great for an evening dip or a day when I didn’t feel like going to the beach. The place sits off the main road, so it was much quieter at night, without the scooters and trucks.
